The Band

Band members are holding a fete and BBQ at the Bandroom on Sat 7th Aug with the doors opening at 12.
This event is to kick-start a fund for replacing the Bandroom roof, which is long past it's best.
The band is looking for saleable items of bric-a-brac, toys, cakes, bottles and kitchen/garden produce. Anything that you are willing to donate... Items may be taken to the Bandroom on Mon & Wed between 7:00pm-7.30pm or if collection is required contact: (Ralph) 01209 860074 or (Txt) 07760 280850

I recently emailed an invitation to the band for the Lanner 2010 Olympics being hosted by the Lanner and District Silver Band on 4 July. It was sent to the email address on this website so I'm unsure if you actually recieved it.
It would be great if you could put a team in. A copy of the invitation can be found on our website. www.lannerband.co.uk

Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all okay, was just wondering if you are competing at Bugle this year, and also if you know what time the event starts? As Jan and I are on holiday in Cornwall at the time we thought we'd pop along to see what it's like.
Hope your banding is going well, we at Cross Keys are getting used to playing in the second section, and getting used to the higher expectation's!

Hi Everyone,
Sorry to hear you didn't have the best of results in Torquay on the weekend, but don't worry, knowing you as a band as I have over the last few years, it's obvious that you've got what it takes to do well, and a really great young talent in James to really take your section by storm. We at Cross Keys have suffered a couple of of unwanted results this year, but the enthusiasm is still there, and we're working hard, so keep your chins up, and the results will come.

Hi all, it's been a very long time since I saw you all last, but I am glad to see so many familiar faces in the gallary and so many new faces as well.
Great to see Ray back in the band as well, most certainly his spiritual home!
I promise one day I will come and listen to you play (I don't think my Euph skills are up for a sit-in though!).
May I express my deepest sympathies to the band regarding Ivor, very very sad indeed, he was a great friend to us all.
Special best wishes to Ken, hope you're doing ok! Got yourself a new van yet?!
